I feel as though I've drifted, not really concentrated on the matter at hand. Distracted is not what I want to be, but it feels quite inevitable.

How is everyone? I feel like I've not talked in quite a while.

School is coming to an end soon, it feels like I haven't really accomplished anything worthwhile. While I've done good in school, I feel as though I'm going to become a ghost. Drifting about without a purpose.

Here are the cookies I promised, there are some gingerbread, and chocolate cookies. Also, some Pumpkin and Banana bread.

How I do love being home.

I spent all day in the kitchen, a real kitchen! I spent the day baking cookies, and breads. I love the smell of the kitchen, all the spices, and herbs hanging to dry in the window. Gideon has been sneaking cookies all day long, you'd think he'd had enough of them from the elves at school. Watching him try to de-gnome the garden had my side splitting in two from laughter. It was so much fun talking to me mum while we cooked and baked, there is so much here at home that I have been missing out on.


After finding a suitable gnome to place upon the tree, Gideon proceeded to go on, and on about how upset he was that the gnome last year ruined the dress we put on it. He graciously relaxed after mum showed him the new dress she made.


I think I will take up sewing on this lovely trip home, I have been meaning to get mum to show me, I just haven't had the time until late. After seeing the dress for the gnome, I believe it is time to get to it.
